EION signs deal to have three industry leaders as resellers for EION products in the Asia Pacific Region
Ottawa Ontario, September 4, 2003 EION Inc. the industry leader in IP software solutions for wired networks, wireless LAN and Wi-Fi market is pleased to announce that it has signed agreements to have three industry leaders in the Asia Pacific region be resellers for it products.
Super Science Technology Corporation (SuperST) with four offices across China and a leader in the embedded solution has signed a strategic agreement to resell EION’s IP software product across China. Foretek Microsystems Ltd. in Korea and Toptrend Technologies Corporation in Taiwan will be focusing on their respective countries to promote and resell EION’s solutions to the equipment manufacturers.
EION’s portable IP software enables scalable, modular IP-based applications in a variety of devices such as routers, switches, PDAs, cell phones, notebooks, Internet-enabled set-top boxes and so-called smart appliances. With EION software, manufacturers can build next-generation network solutions that are faster, more secure and more reliable.
According to the new report from In-stat/MDR, more than 790 million Internet access devices will be shipped in 2006. The report concludes that the smart appliances are expected to grow at the rate 28.2 percent between 2001 and 2006 reinforcing the projected $32 Billion Internet appliances market by 2007 according to Allied Business Intelligence (ABI) report.
